On April 29, Zhang Jifeng, Vice President for Academic Affairs of Zhongyuan University of Technology and Dean of the School of Automation and Electrical Engineering, delivered a special academic lecture entitled "Conditions for Consensusability of Multi-Agent Systems" in Room 218 of Building 10 on the Longhu Campus. More than forty faculty members and students attended the lecture.

Professor Zhang focused on the frontier of control theory and distributed coordination. Starting from the controllability of constrained linear systems, he explained the relationships among graph theory, consensus control, and consensusability. He introduced how network topology, the dynamics of individual agents, and admissible constraints jointly influence whether a multi-agent system can achieve consensus.

The lecture also addressed the research value and application prospects of consensusability analysis in multi-agent systems. Professor Zhang discussed existing technical bottlenecks and possible future research directions, helping participants understand both the theoretical foundations and the practical significance of coordinated control in complex networked systems.

In the interactive session, Professor Zhang encouraged students to strengthen their theoretical study, uphold academic integrity, and carry out original research. The lecture created an active atmosphere for academic communication, broadened participants' research perspectives, and supported the School's work in talent cultivation and disciplinary development.
