The School of Automation and Electrical Engineering has released its competition problems for the 2026 Zhongyuan University of Technology Student Electronic Design Competition. Please see Attachment 1 for details. The competition arrangements are as follows.
The competition problems will be released at 9:00 a.m. on April 13, 2026, at which time the competition will begin. The competition will end at 5:00 p.m. on May 6. Each participating team shall purchase the required components by itself, and there is no fixed restriction on the competition venue. It is recommended that teams conduct their work in the innovation laboratories. The laboratories provide relevant instruments and equipment, including signal generators, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and DC regulated power supplies. The laboratories will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Each participating team must comply with laboratory rules and regulations and complete daily sign-in and sign-out procedures. After the competition ends, each team shall submit its design report on time to the email address of the relevant innovation laboratory supervisor. The physical design must have its program burned in advance. From May 8 to May 10, teams will go in sequence to designated testing locations, as specified by the innovation laboratories, to participate in evaluation. Testing will begin at 9:00 a.m. on May 8, 2026. Teams that do not participate in testing before May 10 will be deemed to have voluntarily forfeited their eligibility. During the evaluation period, each team should attend the evaluation in an orderly manner according to its own schedule and should avoid crowding together, so as not to affect the testing process.
