The Chinese University Student Aircraft Design and Innovation Competition is an aerospace science and technology innovation competition organized by the Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics for universities nationwide. It is the only science and technology competition in China that integrates aircraft design, manufacturing, flight, and control. Last year, the competition attracted nearly 4,000 teachers and students from 150 universities across the country, and international representative teams, including those from Poznan University of Technology in Poland, were newly added. Since its establishment, the competition has been warmly welcomed by universities throughout China and has become a well-known domestic brand event developed as a priority by the Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics. It aims to promote aviation science and technology innovation, popularize aviation science and technology knowledge, foster an aviation culture, raise national awareness of aviation, further discover and expand university students' scientific and technological innovation ability and engineering practice ability in the aerospace field, and identify and cultivate high-quality innovative reserve talents for China's aviation industry and national defense development.
I. Competition Theme

II. Eligibility
Full-time undergraduate students of the university may participate in teams. Interdisciplinary and cross-year teams are encouraged.
Participating teams must comply with the competition rules, ensure that their works are original, and have no academic misconduct or intellectual-property disputes.
III. Competition Events and Format
(I) Competition Events (11 events)
The events include UAV precision airdrop, timed transport flight, solar aircraft mission flight, fixed-wing UAV reconnaissance and strike, UAV short takeoff and landing, logistics UAV mission flight, multirotor UAV reconnaissance and rescue, aerospace rocket launch and return, electric glider control flight, wing static-load challenge, and design of medium-to-large hybrid vertical takeoff and landing UAVs.
