On the afternoon of February 25, the School of Automation and Electrical Engineering at Zhongyuan University of Technology held its first general faculty and staff meeting of the 2025 spring semester in Room 311, the academic lecture hall of Building 4. The meeting reviewed the School's work in 2024 and outlined priorities for 2025. Zhang Ying, Party Secretary of the School, chaired the meeting, which was attended by all faculty and staff members.
Zhu Yongsheng, Executive Dean of the School, reviewed the School's work in 2024 and thanked faculty and staff members for their achievements. He conveyed the spirit of the University's 2025 work conference and made arrangements for the School's key tasks in 2025. Wang Yuanyuan, Deputy Party Secretary of the School, reviewed and planned student-affairs work.
In closing, Zhang Ying emphasized the School's commitment to strengthening Party leadership and integrating Party building more closely with its core work. Zhang called on all faculty and staff to work together to advance the School's high-quality development.
The meeting also introduced early-career faculty members who had joined the School in 2024 and in the first two months of 2025. They expressed their commitment to contributing to the School's development and the planned establishment of Henan University of Electronic Science and Technology.
