On May 14, more than 30 students from the School of Automation and Electrical Engineering at Zhongyuan University of Technology attended a campus recruitment event. The School and the University’s Career Services Office jointly arranged their participation to broaden employment opportunities for the Class of 2026.

The event was part of the “Jiangsu Gathers Talent” campus recruitment program. From 9:30 a.m. to noon, 30 employers met with students in the lobby at the east entrance of the University’s gymnasium. The participating companies represented industries including advanced manufacturing, new materials, and information technology. Job-matching services and resume reviews were also available to help students prepare for employment. A policy briefing took place from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. in Room 109 of Zhentai Building. The session introduced Yangzhou’s talent-attraction policies, living subsidies, and other support measures. Students also explored the city’s cultural heritage through displays of Yangzhou paper-cutting and lacquerware and received locally themed gifts. Meanwhile, a forum in Room 101 of Zhentai Building brought together government, university, and business representatives to discuss closer collaboration between education and industry. Students could also enter a prize draw to win a two-day trip to Yangzhou.

By combining recruitment, policy information, cultural activities, and career support, the event helped students explore employment opportunities and learn more about working and living in Yangzhou. Students brought their resumes, spoke directly with recruiters, and learned about available positions. The School will continue to connect students with employers and support their career development.
